Admission to the Roll of Advocates

The Hon. Chief Justice admitted 70 new advocates to the Roll of Advocates. Our transformative Constitution was born out of a desire for change—it embodies a shift from impunity to accountability, from exclusion to inclusion, and from inequality to justice. It envisions a society rooted in social justice, good governance, and the full realization of human rights.
The new Advocates are thus called to serve as social engineers, in alignment with the transformative vision of the Constitution. As the next generation of legal professionals, these new Advocates have an unparalleled opportunity to shape Kenya’s future. I urged them to become drivers of societal transformation by using their legal expertise to challenge the status quo when necessary, to promote rights, and to foster social harmony within their communities.
