The Hon. Chief Justice held discussions with a visiting delegation from the Judicial Institution of Jiangsu Province in China who are in the country to benchmark and learn from our experience in promoting ‘Non-litigation and Alternative Mechanisms for Disputes resolution’.

Kenya Judiciary shared our experiences in promoting Mediation and Alternative (Traditional) Justice Systems (AJS) as legitimate and appropriate mechanisms for disputes resolution. The Judiciary’s strategic blueprint, ‘Social Transformation through Access to Justice’ (STAJ), champions a multi-door approach to justice delivery, ensuring that different forms of dispute resolution are accessible and integrated into the legal system.
